What is a Blog and How to Create a Blog?

What is a Blog??
A blog is a easy to use website where you can share thoughts for the world to see, interact with people and much more. And you need not spend a single penny for having a blog. YES. Its all free.

What can I post in my blog?
Anything. Just about anything. You can use a blog for sharing political discussions, technical discussions, your travel experiences or your useful compilation of websites or just your wildest of imaginations. This is a free world and you are free to express yourself to this world.

So how to start with blogging?
1. Create an account
2. Name your blog
3. Choose a template
4. Publish your thoughts

1. Create an account:

You can use Google's own blog making site http://www.blogger.com/ to create your blog. You will need to create a Google account and use your google id in order to log into blogger.

2. Name your blog:

Give a title and a name to your blog. While naming your blog, you can check whether the blog name you are typing is available for registration or not. For example, you can name your blog like http://99onlinejobs.blogspot.com/ .

3. Choose a template:

The next step is to choose a template for your blog. You need to choose your template carefully in order to increase viewership of your blog, in case that is your intention. You can go for the funky ones or the simple ones that are available.

4. Publish your thoughts:

Once the blog is created, the next step is to publish your thoughts. You can do this with the help of the powerful blog editor. You can create/modify your blog with the help of a "WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get)" editor or the HTML editor if you are an advanced web user and know how to create web pages using HTML. Once you have created/modified your blog, you can publish your blog. Once the blog is published, anyone around the world can access your blog with the help of your blog URL (Ex. http://99onlinejobs.blogspot.com/).

Congratulations!!! You have now created and published your first blog. You can create any number of blogs you wish and publish any thoughts on those blogs.
